Like children, wines are ever changing from vintage to vintage, year to year. This wine reflects the stature and finesse of our children, Stefan, Nicholas, Evan and Danielle. Enjoy!
Vintners Peter and Diana Merriam began their love of wine by discovering the traditional wine-growing area of France, notably the Bordeaux region where great blends are produced. It is the love of the traditional approach to winemaking that drives the Merriam’s production of their wines. This is an example of finding the right vines to make the best possible wine from this region. Its elegance and ageability are evident from entry through the finish.
Beautiful color, deep magenta at the center gradating to purple at the edge. Fruit bomb on the nose, raspberry, cherry, plum with a layer of vanilla. On first sip, black cherry, cassis and dark berry pie dance around your tongue. Soft tannins with a long lingering finish. Easy drinking now or hold it for a few years.
