Enjoy some of The Merriam Family's favorite wines.
2019 Estate Rosé of Pinot Noir
Two tons of Merriam Estate Pinot Noir- Clone 115 were whole cluster pressed on a cool and foggy September morning. Blush pink in color. Beautiful aromas of cranberry, peach, and stone fruit with violet, raspberry, cherry, and a hint of cotton candy on the pallet. Fermented and aged in stainless steel until dry.
2018 Estate Fumé Blanc
One ton of Sauvignon Blanc from Danielle’s Vineyard was picked to make this reserve style wine. Grapes were separated from the stems and left in contact with the skins for twenty-four hours. Complexity and richness is expressed through the light straw color and round palate. Fermented and aged for ten months in 33% new Acacia Wood/French Oak barrels. Guava and peach are rounded out by smooth coconut extracted from the time spend in barrel.
2018 Cuvée Pinot Noir
An emboldened expression of a Burgundian Pinot Noir. Rich oak notes of caramel, honey pecan, and fennel complement expected fruit aromas of dark cherry, orange and violet. Medium plus mouthfeel. A fruit driven nose balanced properly by earthy, roasted flavors. Pairs well with grilled vegetables and meats, hearty appetizers and flatbreads.
2018 SNED Red Blend
Beautiful color, deep magenta at the center gradating to purple at the edge. Fruit bomb on the nose, raspberry, cherry, plum with a layer of vanilla. On first sip, black cherry, cassis and dark berry pie dance around your tongue. Soft tannins with a long lingering finish. Easy drinking now or hold it for a few years.
2016 Windacre Vineyard Merlot
This merlot has a beautiful purple garnet color. Deep dark fruit on the nose that translates to your palate. Blackberry, fig, Bing Cherry with hints of earthy spice. Very structured tannins balance out the fruit. There is nothing better than a long fruity finish and this wine has it. Enjoy now or lay it down for a few years. It won’t disappoint.
2015 Windacre Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
In 2005, parcels of our Windacre Vineyard were replanted to Cabernet Sauvignon. Clone 8, 412 and 4 were replanted on the site first planted back in 1890.This single vineyard now consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a little Petite Verdot. Farmed on the eastern side of the Russian River Valley allows for cool evenings and warm days with long hang-time on the vine.
